This doctoral programme aims to develop doctoral thesis projects in which different aspects of the main social processes that characterise today's societies are analysed. To do so, emphasis is placed on the importance of linking the methodological dimension that will enable the field work to be correctly carried out, and the more conceptual dimension, which makes a theoretical approach to the doctoral thesis possible.
Throughout the doctoral programme, a series of seminars will be held, with the aim of working on cross-cutting issues in social sciences, such that they may have specific applications in the different doctoral thesis projects being developed.
In short, this doctorate aims to offer a process of knowledge and analysis of the societies in which we live.
