Research in the field of forensic analysis focuses on the development, validation and application of new forensic evidence characterisation methodologies. Different legal and procedural bodies need to ensure that the methods of analysis are reliable, and that they enable the chemical, physical, biological or anthropogenic evidence subject to forensic examination to be unequivocally characterised.
The Doctoral Programme in Forensic Analysis meets the demand for doctors in the field of forensics, and more specifically in the field of advanced laboratories with forensic implications.
