Jarraian, Europako Ikerketa Kontseiluak sortutako bideo hezigarri bikainak daude, hasierako dirulaguntzen, sendotzeko dirulaguntzen edo dirulaguntza aurreratuen deialdietarako proposamen bat prestatzeko prozedura orokorrak azaltzen dituztenak.

Step by Step Guide to the ERC Application Process

How to get started with your ERC proposal

In this video, we will walk you through 7 things to consider before applying for an ERC grant. Why would you apply for an ERC grant? You need to be strategic in your career, and writing an application takes a lot of time and effort. We understand that the success rates are low and you may think you don’t stand a chance. But then, why wouldn’t you apply for an ERC grant? An ERC grant offers independence and recognition. You can research a topic of your own choice, with your own team. You’ll have true intellectual and financial autonomy for up to 5 years. It will increase your visibility, help you access large facilities, negotiate the best working conditions, buy the necessary equipment, attract the best team members and collaborators and bring additional funding. Only when you play you can win the game. And it’s really worth it. So, let’s see how to take a chance on your next ERC grant.

How to get started with your ERC proposal

How to write Part 1 of your ERC proposal

In this video, we will be talking about the more research-focused part of the ERC application, which will be your meal ticket to the interview step. In particular, this video will focus on part B1, but please watch our video about B2 if you are interested. If you’re considering applying for an ERC grant, you may already know that an application is made up of three parts: part A, part B1 and part B2. Part A is the administrative part, it includes practical information about your project, career and budget, as well as a series of important annexes. Here, we will look into the 3 sections that make up the second part of your application, part B1 and give you some practical tips.

How to write part B2 of your ERC proposal

In this video, we will talk about the scientific part of the proposal that is referred to as part B2. This is the part where the panel dig deep into your proposal. In our other videos, you have heard what to think about when writing an ERC proposal, what questions to ask yourself before the process, how to fill in the administrative part, as well as how to complete part B1. In this video, we will cover what to consider when writing part B2.

How are ERC proposals evaluated?

In this video we will walk you through the ERC evaluation process. You might think that this is not very relevant, but it actually indirectly impacts on how you write your proposal. Imagine that you are ready to apply for an ERC grant. You’ve worked on your proposal for weeks, you’ve gathered all your necessary documents, and now you are about to hit the submit button. But what happens next? What’s going on behind the scenes while you are waiting for a decision? Let’s go through the 7 phases of the ERC evaluation process.

ERC Interview Process

In this video, we will walk you through the ERC interview process, so that you can feel a little more prepared. At the end of the video, we will also give you 8 top tips for a good ERC interview. ERC interviews have quite a reputation. For some applicants the experience can be nerve-wracking. Being evaluated by a panel of experts in your field, answering all manner of questions for the possibility of winning a considerable amount of funding. Are you scared yet? We guess anyone would be a little, but if you watch this video, you’ll have a much better appreciation of what you will be faced with.

ERC proiektuak

COSAS - Oxigenoaren selektibitatearen kontrola eskala atomikoan

Programa espezifikoa: ERC HORIZON bekak
UPV/EHU: Koordinatzailea
UPV/EHU IP: Sara Barja

Proiektuaren hasiera: 2023/09/01
Proiektuaren amaiera: 2028/08/31

Deskribapen laburra: Propietate katalitiko optimizatuak dituzten material berriak garatzea funtsezko erronka da energia jasangarria ekoizteko. Epe luzerako helburu hori lortzeko, funtsezkoa da elektrodo-elektrolito interfazean gertatzen diren prozesuak ulertzea. Eremu horretan aurrera egiteko, gainazalen funtsezko propietate kimiko eta katalitikoen irudi osoa behar da eskala atomikoan, errendimendu katalitiko makroskopikoari dagokionez. Ezagutza hori oraindik ere oztopatzen da, sistema katalitiko errealen konplexutasunagatik eta molekula bakar baten elkarreraginetik funtzionamendu-baldintzetaraino prozesu katalitikoari buruzko informazioa eman dezaketen teknika esperimentalen faltagatik. COSAS proiektuak uraren oxidazio elektrokimikoa hidrogeno peroxidoan eta itsasoko uraren elektrolisia ditu ardatz. Elektrodo-elektrolitoaren gainazalaren azterketa atomistikoa proposatzen du, uraren oxidaziorako erreakzio-bide alternatiboen aktibazio selektiborako funtsezko parametroak agerian uzteko. Proiektuaren ikuspegi esperimentala karakterizazio elektrokimiko berria da, kuasi-in situ (X izpien fotoigorpeneko espektroskopia, girotik hurbil dagoen presioan), eta konbinatu egiten da eskala atomikoan egitura elektronikorako sarbidearekin (ekortze-tunelaren efektuko mikroskopia eta espektroskopia) lagin berean. Proiektuak trantsizioko metal oxidoen film meheak aztertuko ditu, egitura-funtzio erlazioak aztertzeko eredu-sistema gisa, eta, aldi berean, oxigenoarekin lotutako erreakzioetarako garrantzi katalitikoa izango du. Proiektuaren metodologia bakarrak mekanismoaren ikuspegi atomistiko berria agintzen du, bitartekari ugari dituzten erreakzio konplexuen atzean, uraren elektrolisi errentagarri baterako elektrokatalizatzaile aktibo eta selektiboen diseinua gida dezaketen funtsezko parametroak azaleratuz.
