Working Group 2 of the G-BiKE COST Action successfully placed it's major analysis in the top journal in Ecology, Evolution, and Conservation Biology.  The paper, PB. Pearman, Olivier Broennimann, and 50 co-authors  Monitoring of species’ genetic diversity in Europe varies greatly and overlooks potential climate change impacts appeared on 15 January 2024 in Nature Ecology & Evolution.  The paper has been accessed more than 10,000 times by just three monhts after its publication and has reached an Altmetrics Attention Score of 200, putting it in the top 1% of all papers ever tracked by Altmetrics. The paper is accompanied in the journal issue by a Research Brief that summarizes the major points. The paper is dedicated to the memory of Michael Bruford, the senior author, who passed away before the paper was published.
