José Manuel León Ranero es investigador posdoctoral en el Departamento de Derecho Público y Ciencias Histórico-Jurídicas y del Pensamiento Político de la Universidad del País Vasco (UPV/EHU) e investigador visitante en el Dipartimento di Scienze Politiche e Sociali del Alma Mater Studiorum Università di Bologna (UniBo).
Doctor en Ciencia Política por la Universidad del País Vasco (UPV/EHU) con la calificación de Sobresaliente con Mención Cum Laude en 2024 y candidato a Premio Extraordinario de Doctorado. Másteres en Gobierno, Liderazgo y Gestión Pública por el Instituto Atlántico de Gobierno (IADG) y en Democracia y Gobierno por la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM). Premio Extraordinario de Fin de Carrera y Mención de Graduado con Excelencia en el Grado en Ciencia Política y Gestión Pública por la Universidad del País Vasco (UPV/EHU).
Profesor y colaborador en tareas docentes. Ha impartido clases en diversas asignaturas del Grado en Ciencia Política y Gestión Pública de la Universidad del País Vasco (UPV/EHU) entre los cursos académicos 2019-2020 a 2022-2023: 'Análisis Político y Prospectiva Electoral' (3º de Grado), 'Comportamiento político' (2º de Grado) y 'Análisis y Gestión Estadística de Datos I' (2º de Grado). Ha sido invitado a impartir sesiones de la asignatura 'Metodología de la investigación social y su aplicación al estudio del terrorismo' del Máster en Análisis y Prevención del Terrorismo de la Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (URJC).
Autor o co-autor de veinticuatro publicaciones académicas en el ámbito de la Ciencia Política: una tesis, un libro, ocho capítulos de libro, nueve artículos científicos y cinco comunicaciones en congresos científicos.
Fundador de la Asociación Universitaria para el Análisis Socio-político Ágora XXI.

José Manuel León Ranero is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Public Law and Historical-Legal Sciences and Political Thought of the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) and a visiting researcher at the Department of Political and Social Sciences of the Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna (UniBo).
PhD in Political Science from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) with a grade of Outstanding with Cum Laude Mention in 2024 and candidate for the Extraordinary Doctorate Award. Masters in Government, Leadership and Public Management from the Atlantic Institute of Government (IADG) and in Democracy and Government from the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM). Extraordinary End-of-Degree Award and Mention of Graduate with Excellence in the Degree in Political Science and Public Management from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU).
Lecturer and collaborator in teaching tasks. He has taught several subjects in the Degree in Political Science and Public Management at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) between the academic years 2019-2020 to 2022-2023: 'Political Analysis and Electoral Prospects' (3rd year of Degree), 'Political Behaviour' (2nd year of Degree) and 'Statistical Analysis and Management of Data I' (2nd year of Degree). He has been invited to teach sessions of the subject 'Methodology of social research and its application to the study of terrorism' of the Master in Analysis and Prevention of Terrorism at the King Juan Carlos University (URJC)
