Horizon Europe is the European Union’s seven-year research and innovation programme, running from 2021 to 2027. The programme’s general objective is to deliver scientific, technological, economic and societal impact from the Union’s investments in R&I, to strengthen the scientific and technological bases of the Union, and foster its competitiveness in all Member States. Brief description: Focusing on policy support and investments in significant national and regional priorities, the Research and Innovation Strategies for Smart Specialisation (RIS3) assists technological and practical innovation and encourages private sector investment. The EU-funded ADAGIO project will increase the research and innovation capacity and high-quality human resources of the regions of New Aquitaine and Euskadi in the frame of RIS3, European cross-border strategies, and the research strategy and talent attraction of the Euroregion New Aquitaine – Euskadi – Navarre. The project aims to integrate postdoctoral talent in the advanced manufacturing field and allow 15 experienced researchers to perform their excellent research projects and acquire transnational mobility experience.
