EUROREG - Euroregion New Aquitaine, Basque Country, Navarre

The Aquitaine-Basque Country Euroregion was created in 2011 as a cross-border cooperation programme with the Aquitaine-Basque Country Region. This cooperation has contributed to bringing the populations closer together and to building the identity of this new regional group.

Its objective is to carry out actions that contribute to economic, social and cultural development throughout the Euroregion; facilitating and promoting cross-border cooperation among its members, in order to strengthen economic and territorial cohesion within the European Union.

This territorial cooperation area seeks integrated development in the following areas, mainly:

  • R&D&I.
  • Environment and sustainable development.
  • Accessibility.
  • Sustainable urban development.
  • Culture, promotion of mutual knowledge of the languages ​​of the Euroregion.
  • Cooperation in Education and Training.
  • Treatment of issues related to agriculture and food.

BEHA 2.0 - Composition and digital literacy of the unified traffic measurement panel on Basque media website

Project Summary: BEHA 2.0 is the continuation of the path undertaken in the previous period, with three major innovations: cooperation between existing partners (this time 55 media from Hekimen), objectives and results.

Four steps will be taken to meet the four objectives of this applied investigation. Firstly, the joint GA4 system for measuring audiences on websites will be implemented in all media; secondly, the digital traffic panel for measuring audiences on Basque media websites will be formed; the third step will come with the entire system in place, digital literacy on analytics and data culture (media training plan); and finally, alternative measurement tools will be tested on the market.

In this way, the media in the Basque Country, in addition to acquiring the newest tools on the market to know their audience, will acquire the knowledge to use them in everyday life. It will be an important step for the sector.
