PARTICIPATING PARTNER ORGANISATIONS FOR SECONDMENTS AND SHORT STAYS

The following list shows the Partner Organisations (PO) that have agreed to form part of the ADAGIO project. Each PO offers specific training opportunities in their field of expertise to the ADAGIO fellows. Specific information can be found within each of the partner descriptions. More information is also available on the POs' websites.

ADAGIO fellows will be strongly encouraged to carry out secondments for a minimum period of 3 months and a maximum period of 12 months in one of the partner organisations listed below, or in another partner organisation suggested by the fellow (and approved by the ADAGIO programme) that can be included at any time during the implementation of their project.

The secondment period can be extended if considered beneficial to the fellow’s research.

FR - AEROSPLINE

AEROSPLINE was created by two experienced engineering partners, Maxime HARDOUIN and Nicolas DE
SAEGER in 2011. They first developed heavy industrial robot heads (80 kg on average), held by traditional industrial robots for the construction of airplanes, then they quickly detected the potential of collaborative robotics.
Thus, since 2012, a wide range of robust and innovative heads or machines held by lightweight industrial robots has been designed and manufactured. We can mention the sanding and polishing robot (for SNECMA), the striking riveting robot, the blind riveting robot (for FIGEAC AERO), and the modular drilling robot (developed within the framework of the European CORDIAL project funded by Clean Sky 2).
AEROSPLINE also develops and uses AI for certain applications such as vision control and intuitive interaction with operators (for SAFRAN, DASSAULT Poitiers).
Aircraft construction remained AeroSpline's preferred sector from 2011 to 2015, but a diversification strategy has since led the company into other equally exciting sectors such as construction or viticulture.
AeroSpline believes that collaborative robotics is a new automation paradigm that can significantly improve competitiveness and safety. Today, with 11 expert and committed employees, the company is proud to develop efficient, versatile and affordable production systems that meet the desire to preserve manufacturing know-how in Europe and reduce the environmental impact of the industry.
