The Aeronautics Advanced Manufacturing Center of the UPV / EHU participates in the TASTE project: TECNOLOGÍAS AERODINÁMICAS PARA TURBOFANES ENGRANADOS([EN] AERODYNAMIC TECHNOLOGIES FOR GEARED TURBOFANS (RTC2019-007194-4), funded by the Ministry of Science and Innovation and the State Research Agency.

The main objective of this project is to advance in the development of key aerodynamic technologies that allow meeting the deadlines established within the UltrafanTM industrial project, whose main objective is to achieve the environmental milestones set by the EU through ACARE - Advisory Council for Aviation Research and Innovation in Europe - and endorsed by the Government of Spain through the "Spanish Strategy for Science and Technology and Innovation 2013-2020".

In this first year, the CFAA has worked on the completion of task T5.1.1. Acquisition of knowledge in test bench component manufacturing processes. The group's role will be based on the manufacture of blade-type components for test bench prototypes.
