Research interests

I am involved in the projects "Faunal diversity in Geopark streams: effect of fluvial isolation" and the RIMSEC (Riverine metacommunities as sentinels for environmental change) project with an Investigo grant. In the Geopark project, we will assess the condition of Geopark streams and focus especially on the effect of fluvial isolation of headwaters of small streams. In the RiMSEC project we will investigate the response of riverine metacommunities to environmental change to identify changes and drivers of the diversity, stability and the food web energetics of river ecosystems.
