Welcome

WELCOME TO THE GDED WEB PAGE

The Digital Electronics Design Group (GDED) is a multidisciplinary research team composed of researchers from the Dep. of Electricity and Electronics (Faculty of Science and Technology) and the Dep. of Electronics Technology (School of Engineering of Bilbao), at the University of the Basque Country (EHU).

Our partners

The GDED Group collaborates with Basque, Spanish, and international technology companies and scientific institutions in various research and technology-transfer projects.

AESEMI

We are now members of the Spanish Semiconductor Industry Association (AESEMI).

The aim of the association is to give visibility to all the entities that form part of the semiconductor technology ecosystem in Spain. Thanks to this platform, not only the growth of this industry is boosted, but also the option for large companies to have solutions to cover the commitments of decarbonisation and digitisation, which are a common factor for all industries, already at a global level.

SoC4sensing

The GDED group participates in the SoC4sensing Chair.

The University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) SoC4sensing University-Business Chair (GAIA - Ikerlan - SoC-e) presents an ambitious Research and Training Plan to develop microelectronics design skills in new generations of electronics engineers.

EUROPRACTICE

GDED (EHU) supports EUROPRACTICE.

EUROPRACTICE provides a critical infrastructure for Europe and services that enhance Europe’s competitiveness in the global market place. In the high-tech world of ASICs and Smart Systems, EUROPRACTICE lowers the barriers for academia to exploit the latest technologies in their research, innovation and the training of the large numbers of highly-skilled graduates demanded by industry. EUROPRACTICE provides European SMEs and start-ups with a true one-stop shop that provides all you need to design and fabricate electronic devices and systems in a supported cost-effective way with clear routes to prototype fabrication, commercialization and volume production.
