Department of Physics
The Department of Physics is a multidisciplinary department carrying out research and teaching activities in the Faculty of Science and Technology and the Faculty of Pharmacy of the UPV/EHU. At the undergraduate level, the department is involved in the degrees of Physics, Electronic Engineering, Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Mathematics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Geology. At the graduate level many of the members of our department are involved in the Master in Quantum Science and Technology, Master in Banking and Quantitative Finances, Master in Forensic Analysis, Master in New Materials, Erasmus Mundu Master of Science in Marine Environment and Resources and in the Master in Science and Space Technology and PhD programme in Physics.
Regarding research, the department focuses in theoretical physics, condensed matter physics and applied physics. As a non-exhaustive list of topics, we highlight the following:
