Una planificaci¿e marketing exitosa debe partir del conocimiento del consumidor. Existe un amplio volumen de investigaci¿e¿a y emp¿ca que avala el desarrollo del estudio del comportamiento del consumidor dentro de la disciplina del marketing. Al mismo tiempo, en las ¿ltimas d¿das, las pr¿icas comerciales han sufrido cambios significativos, que se desarrollan paralelamente al aumento de la complejidad del mercado. Esta complejidad ha favorecido, en el contexto de la comercializaci¿el desarrollo de la vertiente estrat¿ca del marketing que tiene como una de sus funciones fundamentales el an¿sis y comprensi¿e los consumidores.En consecuencia, comprender y caracterizar al consumidor son los ejes sobre los que se construye este curso. Desde nuestra disciplina entendemos la necesidad de llevar a cabo un an¿sis y entendimiento profundo del comportamiento del consumidor, desde la psicolog¿de ¿e, que permita entender al alumnado c¿las reglas que gobiernan el comportamiento humano pueden aplicarse en un contexto de marketing. As¿el conocimiento del consumidor y su comportamiento resultar¿de gran trascendencia para las empresas en el desarrollo e implementaci¿e sus diferentes pol¿cas de marketing y, en espec¿co, en el dise¿ ejecuci¿e sus estrategias de marca.
