The master's degree in Mathematical Modelling and Research, Statistics and Computation is a link between the theoretical and technical competences, which are demanded actually by private companies, and scientific research institutes. Many productive structures as well as interdisciplinary research communities are currently using mathematical technology for planning efficient strategies and for finding solutions of practical problems in modeling, optimization, statistics and computation is proposed. In the same way, a choose of theoretical subjects focused on a research career in analysis, algebra or geometry / topology allows to follow a more academic itinerary. In most of the subjects it is emphasized the presentation of practical examples and the use of specialized software. The master is offered together with the Universities of La Laguna, La Rioja, Public of Navarra, Oviedo UPV / EHU, and Zaragoza. Face-to-face teaching is taught in two teaching periods: between October and December at the UPV/EHU and between February and April in Zaragoza. The degree allows access to the doctoral program in Mathematics.
