Welcome to the website of the Department of Genetics, Physical Anthropology and Animal Physiology of the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU).

The Faculty staff of our Department includes lecturers and professors of the areas of Genetics and Physical Anthropology, as well as lecturers and professors of the area of Physiology assigned to the School of Science and Technology.

The headquarters of our Department are in the School of Science and Technology, where our administrative office is located (building F1, floor -1).

Our courses are offered mainly in the Degrees of Biology and Medicine, although we also participate in the teaching of the Degrees of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and Biotechnology. We also teach the subject of Biology in the Degree of Geology, and participate in "Aulas de la Experiencia de Bizkaia” contributing to the teaching of the Degree in Human Sciences.
