GENERAL X-RAY SERVICE OF THE UPV/EHU: MOLECULES AND MATERIAL UNIT
Specific access rules
This protocol establishes the conditions of access to the X-ray Diffraction Service, by internal users (UPV/EHU) and external users (other universities, OPIS, technology centers, companies, etc.).
Access to the X-ray Diffraction laboratories is restricted to authorized personnel. Users will only be able to access the service after making an appointment with the technical staff (Dr. Leire San Felices, Dr. Aitor Larrañaga).
Users may access the Service through two ways:
- SELF-SERVICE mode (mode available only for the reservation of the XRF and CT Workstations).
- UPV/EHU and EXTERNAL Modality (performance of tests by the Service's technical staff).
To carry out special experiments, in the self-service mode, it will be necessary to comply with the requirements that the technical service personnel demand in each case.
The selection of workstations for VC Studio will be the responsibility of the technical staff of the Service. Requests for the realization of VC Studio will be invoiced monthly in arrears.
All work requests will be directed to the Service's technical staff, and will be formalized through the IKERKUDE application.
In the X-ray Service you can carry out routine and special experiments, analysis of results and, in any case, the technical staff of the Service can advise you on the most appropriate experiments and conditions for each problem by completing the attached form.
