Description: RX microfluorescence equipment

Micro X-ray fluorescence spectrometer using energy dispersion ED-XRF for elemental analysis. It has an automatic XYZ tray, automatic collimator changer, X-ray tube with Mo anode, maximum power 40W; maximum voltage 48kV and silicon drift detector (SDD) with an area of 30mm2, and FWH energy resolution lower than 150eV, measured on the Mn Kalfa line. Its calibration is through fundamental FP Plus parameters.

Applications:

X-ray fluorescence allows the elemental identification of solid and liquid samples, it is a semi-automatic equipment for the identification of the main lines of practically the entire periodic table. The fact that it does not require sample processing along with the high acquisition speed for specific measurements makes it a very versatile device with sensitivities of 1% (semi-quantitative analysis). The possibility of mapping or scanning online allows the complete evaluation of the relative contents between elements of the same piece.
