Yara Álvarez is originally from Asturias. She studied Biotechnology at Oviedo University. She is currently doing her Master Degree in Forensic Analysis at UPV/EHU.
Her Master Research Work deals with the development of a hybrid microfluidics-lateral flow device for the detection of lung cancer biomarkers from a drop of blood. This research is part of INDICATE project.
