Biography

Arantxa Fernández is stuying Chemistry at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU). She has worked at A3Z advanced (Derio, Bilbao) for three months, where she learnt about UHPLC, spectrophometry and other important analysis techniques used for quality control of health care products.

This year she is finishing her degree in chemistry and she is working on her final degree project at the Microfluidics Cluster UPV/EHU.

Research

Arantxa is working on the development of a microfluidic device for phosphate detection in water using ionogel materials.
