Maider Larrañaga Egilegor is doctor in psychology and has a specific training in gender issues, with a Master in equality between women and men. She is a professor and researcher at the Faculty of Psychology of the University of the Basque Country, in the Department of Social Psychology and Methodology of Behavior. She is a member of the RESPYRGET research network, where researchers from different universities who are interested in studying the field of work from a gender perspective participate. My main lines of research try to incorporate the gender perspective and analyze gender dynamics as asymmetrical relationships of power. Among the topics discussed in my research are: gender asymmetry in the social representation of unemployment; the gender perspective in the study of quality of life ; gender dynamics in traditionally male professions; the relationship between gender and leadership; the social representation of gender equality and positive actions.
