Degree (2003) and Doctor in Psychology (2008) by the UPV/EHU with extraordinary prize. Since 2009 she has been a professor in the Department of Developmental and Educational Psychology at this University (currently an aggregated professor (contracted doctorate) accredited as a full professor. Since 2014 she is Vice-Dean of Academic Organization of the Faculty of Education and Sport.



She directs the research group PSIKOR recognized by the Basque Government as a Consolidated Research Group (group A of the Basque university system) dedicated to the analysis and improvement of school and psychosocial adjustment through psychological and contextual variables. She has participated in 24 state, autonomic and university research projects, being main researcher in 4 of them during the last 4 years. She has directed a total of 6 doctoral theses, all of them with the highest qualification (one with an extraordinary doctorate prize and another with a Koldo Mitxelena prize).



She is the author of 4 books, 12 book chapters, 4 teaching publications and numerous research articles published in international scientific journals. The H impact index of her publications is 11 according to the Publons database (43 publications on the Web of Science with 298 citations). Se has 2 sexennia of research recognized by CENAI. Her lines of research address psychosocial adjustment (schooling and psychological well-being), physical self-concept, parental educational styles or perceived social support
