INGE AXPE SAEZ

Professor at the Faculty of Education of Bilbao (Developmental and Educational Psychology). Degree in Psychology and Teaching (Child Specialty), phd with extraordinary mention in Psy. She has studied the Masters in Group Analytical Psychotherapy (OMIE and University of Deusto), and Master in Psychodidactics (UPV/EHU). She teaches at the Faculty of Education of Bilbao (Teacher Training, Kindergarten & Education and Social Education). She coordinates the departmental section of Developmental Psychology and Education at the Leioa Campus, since 2013/14. She is a member of the Faculty of Education of Bilbao's Equality Committee (since 2014/15), having been part of the organising committee of different events (congresses and conferences). She has research and teaching stays (University of Nevada, Reno; and within the Erasmus+ Staff program). Her research topic has been related to the physical self-concept, broadening her interest to the identification of the importance of contextual (peer’s, parents’, teachers’ support) and intrapersonal factors (self-concept, emotional intelligence, resilience...) in the adjustment and involvement. Member of Psikor research group (www.psikor.es; recognised since 2007 as a consolidated research group by the Basque Government), she has participated in national (UPV/EHU; MICINN-MINECO) and international (Erasmus+) projects. Outside university, she has experience in school Health and Risk Prevention programmes.
