I have a degree in Psychology from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) and later I completed the Certificate of Pedagogical Aptitude at the same university. I have completed the Diploma in Statistics and Research Methodology (Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona), as well as the Master in Clinical and Health Psychology (ISEP) and the Master in Clinical Neuropsychology (ITEAP). I have received several predoctoral and postdoctoral grants from regional and national organizations. I have a PhD from the UPV/EHU, doing my doctoral thesis in Psychodidactics and later defended another doctoral thesis in Neurosciences. I am a certified health psychologist. In addition to this academic training, I have done complementary training (courses, conferences, congresses, workshops) both in clinical, research and teaching areas, making a constant training and recycling.
I have worked during my predoctoral stage with the PSIKOR group of the Department of Developmental and Educational Psychology directed by Alfredo Goñi, researching in several research projects related to physical self-concept and publishing the results of these in books, book chapters and articles in low impact or non-indexed journals.
Later, as part of my postdoctoral work, I started working in the CIBERSAM research group led by Ana González-Pinto. During this time I had contact with many researchers, working in 35 competitive research projects, of which 3 are European, 15 from the Health Research Fund, 7 from
