Dr. José Miguel Gil-García. He received the M.Sc. degree in industrial electronics at The University of Mondragon in 1999 and the PhD in electronics and telecommunications at the University of the Basque Country in 2018. He is currently Senior Lecturer in the Electronic Technology Department, UPV/EHU, and his teaching deals with the design of programmable electronic systems based on microcontrollers and programmable logic devices. His Ph.D work focused on the design and development of systems to measure the performance parameters of rotating turbo machinery using optic sensors. His research interests focus on the development of measurement devices using advanced high speed architectures.
Ha has published more than 26 papers in international congresses, 9 articles in international peer-reviewed journals and taken part in 25 RD+i projects.
He is also the head of an accredited calibration laboratory in ISO/IEC 17025:2017 for temperature, humidity and pressure.
