Dr.-Ing. Ind. from the Public University of Navarra, Industrial Engineer from the E.T.S.I.I. of Bilbao (UPV/EHU). Master os Science in Gas Turbines by Cranfield University (UK), and International Welding Engineer by International Institute of Welding (IIW).
Accredited by ANECA as University Professor. He has taught subjects such as Elasticity and Strength of Materials, Theory of Mechanisms and Structures, Industrial Constructions, Industrial Architecture, Metallic Structures, Reinforced Concrete, Machine Theory, Forming, Welding, and Transport Engineering, having directed numerous Thesis.
He started his professional career in Industria de Turbo Propulsores, ITP S.A. (Vizcaya). Subsequently, he held the position of R&D Director of the MIASA Group. He is currently R&D Director of the international group COMANSA. S.A., dedicated to the design and manufacture of cranes, lifting and vertical transport equipment. He is a member of AENOR, UNE CTN 58- MAQUINARIA DE ELEVACIÓN Y TRANSPORTE and CEN/TC 147 in charge of the development of EN standards for cranes, vertical transport equipment for lifting people, winches, lifting machinery and lifting accessories.
Active member of the Spanish and European Federation of Materials Handling (FEM), Product Group for Cranes and Lifting Equipment (FEM PG CLE EOT).
Member of the Spanish Association of Lifting, Transport and Handling Machinery (ANMOPYC) and of PTEC, ATEG, CESOL, SEIE, GEF, ESIS, NAFEMS, AEND, among others.
