I began my journalistic career in Latin America as an journalist for the newspaper Expreso de Guayaquil (Ecuador), where I also held positions of responsibility. I have also worked as an jouranlist in the newspaper El Día de Valladolid and participated in the management that launched the Noticias de Gipuzkoa project in 2005. I have also published collaborations in different Basque media such as Argia, El Diario Vasco, Gara, or Berria. I taught my first Journalism classes in 2004, at the Casa Grande University of Guayaquil (Ecuador), for which in 2014 I directed the project to create a Master's Degree in Digital Journalism and Multimedia Project Management, in which I have also taught lessons. In 2014 I defended my doctoral thesis, researched in Brazil. I am a member of the HGH research group (Hedabideak, Gizartea, Hezkuntza) and my lines of research focus on the democratization of information and slow journalism or slow journalism.
