She is associate professor in the Department of Linguistics and Basque Studies. After graduating in Basque Philology (2006) and she defended her International PhD in Linguistics at the UPV/EHU (2015).

Her teaching career started in course 2009/2010 in UPV/EHU, and since then she has taught several courses in general linguistics, translation, academic writing and speaking and technical Basque. She also teaches in the Masters in Basque Linguistics and Philology. He has supervised several end-of-degree projects, Master’s thesis, collaboration grants and formative practices.

She is also a member of ELEBILAB (Teaching, Acquisition and Language Use) consolidated research group led by M. J. Ezeizabarrena. Her research in psycholinguistics covers two main areas: language disorders and bilingualism. More specifically her research is focused on Basque-Spanish bilingual aphasia and code-switching. Over the last few years, she has participated in a series of research projects and she has presented her research in several conferences and papers on neuropsycholinguistics and bilingualism (orcid.org/0000-0002-1272-1142). Moreover, she has been involved in several activities for science popularization.
