60% Exam (mandatory). Passing the exam is required to pass the course.

20% Laboratory Reports (optional):

Reports will be individual.

Reports must be submitted on the same day the lab is conducted.

Failure to submit a report will result in the loss of the corresponding grade.

Lab work and reports will be done in pairs from the same Laboratory Group and will remain the same throughout the course. These groups must be communicated to the professor within the same period; otherwise, alphabetical order will be applied.

20% Deliverables (optional):

An electronic portfolio will be submitted, and a public presentation will be given - 15 minutes of presentation plus 5 minutes of Q&A - on a directed project. The project, to be proposed and developed in groups, will focus on studying a control problem of a specific physical system as realistically as possible and developing and implementing suitable controllers to meet the requirements of the proposed system.

On the day of the presentation, the portfolio will be submitted, consisting of the PowerPoint and PDF of the presentation, along with the project report - following a provided template - in source format (Word, LaTeX, etc.) and PDF, and the Matlab files used.

If optional tasks are not completed, the corresponding grade will be lost in the final score.

Optional tasks already evaluated do not need to be repeated in future sessions. Students who have completed optional tasks in previous courses and do not wish to repeat them must inform the professor within the first 4 weeks of the course. Otherwise, the grade will be lost.

Failure to take the final exam will result in a grade of N.P. (Not Present). The student cannot withdraw from the session after the exam.
