Automation and Control in reducing environmental impact
The Intelligent Control Research Group, in collaboration with the Department of Automatic Control and Systems Engineering of the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), presents the fourth series of conferences entitled "Automation and Control in the reduction of environmental impact" to be held at the Bilbao School of Engineering.
Context
Nowadays, concern about the negative environmental impact that our society generates is present in multiple environments and sectors, from the political sphere to our society, whose awareness is slowly growing.
But it is especially relevant that the academic and scientific worlds, as well as the industrial world, provide solutions and new proposals for improvement in a multitude of processes and everyday situations, where technology can achieve better performance of our social and industrial environments, in favor of a reduction of the existing environmental impact.
The purpose of this event is to organize a conference with multiple speakers who bring us closer to real and practical solutions, where control and automation techniques have allowed the implementation of technological solutions that offer greener, more efficient alternatives that significantly reduce the environmental impact, such as the improvements presented in energy efficiency for multiple industrial processes, in complex plant controls or the generation and storage of hydrogen.
