On Monday March 9th, it was the presentation of the first day of diffusion of SCAB (Central Analysis Service Bizkaia) of SGIker. On the occasion of the visit of Dr. John Beck, Lead Scientist of the Research Service of the East Division of the Department of Agriculture of the United States, the SCAB organized a talk on volatiles organic compounds and pest control. Besides the interesting presentation by Dr. Beck, attendees could also hear the instrumental potential that is available in the SCAB and which is available to all research groups of the UPV/EHU, technology centers and companies. The day ended with a visit to the laboratory by Gas Chromatography technician SCAB, Dr. Luis Bartolomé.
