During the 28th and May 29th it was held in the Bizkaia Aretoa of the UPV/EHU, the meeting for discussion of the results of the 18th proficiency testing on organic elemental analysis (18 AEO).

After two days of presentations, debates and discussion of results between the different participating laboratories, on Friday May 29th discussion meetings for the year Intercomparison organic elemental analysis (18AEO) closed. 36 of the 45 laboratories participating attended in person this meeting making it one of the largest among the latest editions of the program. The assessment made by participating laboratories as well as the sponsors of the event and the organizing committee of the Universitat de Barcelona was very satisfactory. From the SCAB it is appreciated the involvement of the Advanced Research Facilities (SGIker) and different sectors involved in the UPV/EHU in organizing this event.
