SGIker participates in the XIII International Forum on Quality Assessment of Research and Higher Education (FECIES) in Granada (June-July 2016) (2016/09/26)

Maribel Arriortua, Director of the General Research Services (SGIker) and Fatima Pastor, from the Unit of Scientometry in SGIker, attended the XIII Forum FECIES, from June 30th to July 2nd, organized by the University of Granada and the Association Spanish Behavioral Psychology, held in Granada and with a participation of more than 600 concurrent national and international universities.
The forum had the opportunity to know the structure and functions of the State Investigation Agency, through its director Marina Villegas; and the criteria and processes of evaluation of research sections (six-year) and the accreditation of university professors, by the General Coordinator of ANECA CNEAI, Demetrio Castro.
In one of the discussion sessions devoted to exposing the plans and strategies to foster research at the University, Fernando Plazaola, Vice Chancellor for Research at the UPV/EHU participated as a representative of the UPV/EHU.
In addition to attending the international meeting FECIES in which different topics related to the evaluation of research, doctorate in Spain and the European Union and the various plans of the Spanish universities to foster research were discussed, the quality and European Convergence , the hand of national and international experts in the field as Jorge Hirsch, Philip Purnell, Gustavo Slafer or Julio Bravo, SGIker participated presenting three scientific posters.
