The European Research Council (ERC)  has published its work programme for 2017. The first call to open will be the Starting Grant (StG) for researchers with 2 to 7 years postdoctoral experience that have already demonstrated scientific independence from their supervisors and that show leadership qualities.  The deadline for submission of proposals is the 18th of October 2016.
