Description

The General Research Services (SGIker) have organized an Open Day for Tuesday, November 12, 2024 with the aim of learning about the operation of the X-Ray Tomograph (Micro, Nano, CT) of the X-Ray Service, Molecules and Materials Unit.

Visits can be made in the morning, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., or in the afternoon, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., in the Martina Casiano Platform Building of the Leioa Campus of the University of the Basque Country. The maximum capacity will be 12 people in each of the enabled shifts.

The event is aimed at research staff interested in this type of equipment with multiple applications in most branches of science, industrial manufacturing and fine arts.

The technical staff of the SGIker X-Ray Service, Aitor Larrañaga and Leire San Felices, will be responsible for demonstrating the operation of this computerized tomograph.
