Degree in Physical Education and PhD from the UPV/EHU and Master's Degree in Management of Sports Organisations and Facilities from the Polytechnic University of Madrid. Associate lecturer at the UPV/EHU, she works in the Faculty of Education and Sport, teaching on the Degree in Physical Activity and Sport Sciences, as well as on the Master's Degree in Research in Physical Activity and Sport Sciences. In the research activity, she has directed and participated in several research projects and belongs to the research group GIKAFIT of the UPV/EHU. She is currently developing the line of Physical Activity and Sport at School Age, through the analysis of physical activity and sport habits at school age, as well as the influence of physical activity and sports at school age as a predictor of active adults.
