JOSE ANTONIO MAIZA LARRARTE

Professor at the Department of Applied Economics at the University of the Basque Country UPV/EHU. His research draws on the impact and socioeconomic consequences of China’s growth over several regions and economic sectors. He has authored a variety of publications dealing with the effects of China’s irruption on trade and investment, and more recently he has oriented his research towards financing and sustainability. Prior to assuming this position, he was researcher at a consultancy firm and he took part in several research projects commissioned by the European Commission.
