I am assistant professor at the Economics and Business Faculty of the UPV/EHU in San Sebastian. I obtained my PhD in Development Studies in the UPV/EHU.

I teach in undergraduate courses and in an official master degree. My research has been focused on Rural Development, Public Policy Evaluation, Agri-environmental Policies and alternative Food Systems. I am member of the HEGOA Institute and the Department of Public Policy and Economic History.

I have participated in more than 20 projects and research contracts, mainly with Basque institutions. Nowadays I am participating in different research projects oriented to the promotion of marketing innovations in family farming in Europe and Latin America.
