Degree in Political Science and Industrial and Urban Sociology (UPV / EHU). PhD in Political Science, University of the Basque Country (2009).
Professor at the UPV / EHU since 2007, at present, she is an associate professor in the Faculty of Labour Relations and Social Work, in the Degree in Social Work.
She has been coordinator of the Training Complement of adaptation to the Degree (2012-13), coordinator of the Final Degree Projects (2013-14) and degree coordinator (2014-15, 2015-16) of the degree in Social Work at School University of Social Work. She is the Section Coordinator and the first vice-dean of the Faculty of Labour Relations and Social Work (since 2017).
Member of the Consolidated Research Group Partehartuz, and collaborator of the Study Group on Food and Society Urban Elika. She is member of the Ethics Committee for Research on Human Beings (CEISH) since 2018.
She has published numerous book chapters and scientific articles, and has participated in researches related to the following lines of research: theory of the welfare state, disability, poverty, food and society, social investment and new social risks.
She has participated in more than thirty congresses and scientific conferences, and in Educational Innovation Projects (PIE) and Open Course Ware (OCW).
