Beatriz Onandia Ruiz associate professor since December 2017 of the French philology department of the UPV-EHU. Doctor by the Universities of Lorraine (France) and the Basque Country (2016), Beatriz ONANDIA is a specialist in cultural transfers, translations and adaptations of female works between France and Spain during the eighteenth century. She has been Assistant Professor (2009-2011), PhD student contracted-Doctoral Contract (2011-2015) and ATER: attaché temporaire d'enseignement et de la recherche (2015-2017) in the Spanish department of the University of Lorraine (France) ). University with whom he continues to maintain a professional relationship as he continues to belong to the research group of the university and annually he usually stays in the departments of L.E.A and Spanish LLCER as a guest professor.

She is currently an associate professor in the French philology department of the University of the Basque Country and a member of the consolidated research group of the Basque university system: Basque Country, Europe and America:

Links and Atlantic Relations. She is also the author of numerous articles on translations and female productions in Spain and France during the 18th century.
