Javier Puldain Huarte

San Sebastián, 1963.

Architect graduate from the School of Architecture at the Polytechnic University of Madrid, 1989; Master in Land Management and Environment at the University of Deusto, 2002; Architecture PhD, Architecture Department, Basque Land University, 2013, thesis on: los limes en el tiempo: paisaje, territorio y confines construidos



Lecturer since 1999 at the School of Architecture of the Basque Land EHU·UPV in San Sebastian, in which has been teaching different terms always within the “Design” area (in basque, spanish and english), teaching nowadays at the Landscape Management, Heritage, Land and City Master in the Faculty of Arts of Vitoria, EHU·UPV, as well.



At the present moment, lecturer at the accredited Master of the School of Architecture, EHU·UPV, and member of the jury of the Final submission of the architecture University Master (which enables to built in Spain).



Studies co-ordinator of the School of architecture from 2004 to 2006, Academic Secretary from 2006 to 2010, since 2016, Academic Secretary of the Architecture Department, EHU·UPV.



Research fields: interactions in between landscape and architecture, architecture as agent of change in the landscape and territory, architecture and land management… history of this management
