Degree in Painting (1997) and Sculpture (1998) UPV/EHU. PhD in Painting, UPV/EHU (2008). She is Associate Professor in the Department of Painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the UPV/EHU. She is also Professor in the Master of Research and Creation in Art (INCREARTE), and in the Master of Painting of the UPV/EHU.

The line of research in which she works places painting facing the idea of landscape, proposing a recovery and redefinition of romantic naturalist discourses.

Since 2016 she is a member of the Research Group laSIA, a team that tries to base the practice of art as an experience of knowledge, assuming the process of artistic creation as a way of producing knowledge. See more at: www.lasiaweb.com/en

She has done individual and collective exhibitions, nationally and internationally, and has received scholarships such as the creation grant of the Provincial Council of Vizcaya (1998), the artistic residency scholarship at Bilbao Arte (2013) or the help of the Etxepare Basque Institute for the mobility of the Basque creators in the modality of plastic and visual arts (2018).

She is the author and co-author of scientific articles and has participated in congresses and international meetings.
