Graduate (2004) and PhD (2012) in Fine Arts in the specialty of Graphic Techniques from the UPV/EHU. Coordinator of the Degree in Creation and Design (2016-2018), Secretary (2017-2018) and Director of the Drawing Department (since 2019). Since 2012, he has participated in several research projects in Art at the UPV/EHU's Faculty of BBAA and has directed and co-directed two doctoral theses. Founding member of the IAPA International Academic Printmaking Alliance (Beijing, China), International Honorary Advisor to the Fundación 'ace (Buenos Aires, Argentina) and Director of the Open Portfolio FIG Bilbao International Program for Emerging Graphic Artists (Bilbao, Spain). As an artist and professor, he has been invited to teach at the London College of Communication, the Camberwell College of Arts (London, 2018), the George Enescu University of Art (Romania, 2011), the ESAD School of Arts and Design Polytechnic Institute of Leiria (Portugal, 2016) and CAFA Cetral Academy of Fine Arts (China 2012, 2017 and 2018). He collaborates with training, production and research centers in Graphic Art such as the CIEC Centro Internacional de la Estampa Contemporánea (Galicia, from 2015 to date) where he teaches at the Master in Graphic Art, the Fundació Pilar i Joan Miró in Mallorca, Casa Falconieri (Italy), Litografía Viña (Oviedo) and BilbaoArte Foundation in which he has taught more than 30 courses in recent years.
