Unai Requejo (Santurtzi, 1982) in an artist and a professor in the Fine Arts school of the University of the Basque Country. He is a doctor with the pHd titled “La posibilidad lúdica en el hecho artístico: entre la creación juguetona, el arte jugable y la obra-juguete” that was read in 2016. Associate professor in the Drawing department, he teaches in the Technology and Resources section, C4 classroom, the subjects of Multimedia Creation, Technological Graphics, Resouces for the project.
Member of the Research group Subjectivity in practice-based artistic research, la Sia. His research areas are the playing-based creative processes, videogames, 3D graphics, LIDAR technology, landscape.
He takes part in group and solo exhibitions since 2003, showcasing his work in cities such as Bilbao, Madrid, Bristol, Breda, Palermo, Tetouan, Oporto, Beijing or San Diego. Was granted with a residency in Beijing in the program Let's go to China!
