Bilbao, 1983. Leire Muñoz holds a degree in Fine Arts from the UPV/EHU. She completed her Master's Degree in Art Creation and Research (InCreArte) at the UPV/EHU. She has participated in seminars and workshops, such as the one led by Lothar Baumgarten at the Botín Foundation, or the Oteiza y la crisis de la modernidad seminar in Alzuza (Navarra). Leire Muñoz has received creation aid and grants from the Basque Government, the BilbaoArte Foundation, the Biscay Provincial Council, and the Kunsthaus in Bregenz (Austria).
Included among her exhibitions are Eco-Intervalo-Obstáculo-Resonancia-Reflexión in the CarrerasMugica Gallery (Bilbao, 2017), No end in-sight, Torre de Ariz (Basauri, 2015), Bilbao-Bregenz/Bregenz-Bilbao, the Lisi Hämmerle Gallery (Bregenz, 2016), and X.AMP Zoria, Okela (Bilbao, 2016).
