Izaskun Alonso Saratxaga is a painter and Surface designer.
She´s got a Bachelor´s degree in Fine Arts for the U.P.V- E.H.U (1994). She is granted in the Fine Arts Academy of Bolonia (93-94). She studies Doctorate “ Practice and Language of the Artistic Languages”( 1995-1997) U.P.V.-E.H.U., does the C.A.P. in 1995. Master in Graphic Design in INEDI ( Bilbao), year 2002.D.E.A.,2010. She gets a collaboration grant in Research in the U.P.V Painting Departament of the Fine Arts, year 2008.
She has taken part in the following research projects: “ Development of forms, colours and textures on decorative wall support. Appliance to the project of wall art in Beissier Company”, year 2004. Director; Santiago Ortega Mediavilla.
“Development of impressions and transfers of artistic techniques for decorative modular support. Appliance to the artistic projects of La Jirafa company”, year 2007, director Julian Irujo. Participation in the Science Week 2007.
From 1998 until 2016 she has a been a creative director, designer and painter in La Jirafa Artistic Projects, S.L. company dedicated to design and execution of wall paintings and specific site projects either urban or interior.
From 2016 until nowadays she has led a multidisciplinary project called “izetäka”, which gathers contemporany painting and digital printing with the design of the surface of daily life´s objects.
