BA in Sociology from the University of the Basque Country UPV / EHU in 2006 and Master in Migration: Knowledge and management of migration processes (UPV/EHU, 2008), Diploma in Public Health (Pompeu Fabra University) and International PhD in Sociology (UPV/EHU, 2013).

My interest has been mainly directed to the study of international migration and the integration of immigrants. Nowadays, my main research lines include sociology of health, with special focus on social inequalities in health, and population ageing. I am a member of the Research Group on Social Determinants of Health and Demographic Change-OPIK.

I teach in the Faculty of Social Sciences and Communication and in the Faculty of Labor Relations and Social Work (Leioa), in subjects related to the methodology of social research and statistics, specifically, Quantitative Techniques of Social Research, Qualitative Techniques of Social Research, Qualitative Social Research and Statistics Applied to Communication, both in Spanish and English. In relation to postgraduate teaching, I participate in the Master in Models and Research Areas in Social Sciences and the Master in Health Promotion and Community Health, around quantitative research methodologies.
