Mª Arritokieta Ortuzar Iragorri has a bachelor degree in Chemistry (1998) and a PhD degree (2007) in Environmental Biology and Quality of Life by the University of the Basque Country. She carried out the latter in Neiker-Tecnalia and then wrote her thesis: Development of a rational system of nitrogen fertilization in soft wheat
She currently works as a teacher and researcher in the Department of Mathematics and Experimental Sciences Didactics at the Faculty of Education of Bilbao. She has participated in thirteen research projects as a predoctoral fellow and researcher. Some of those projects are related to the management of cereal nitrogen fertilization, some other with the migration of contaminants to food ... Since 2015, she is a member of the group InMeBa_HBT adituak, group specialized in educational innovation of methodology and resources in engineering. She is the co-author at seven SJR publications, approximately 40 contributions to congresses and conferences and around 10 informative publications.
