Description and Contextualization of the SubjectToggle Navigation

The course intends to provide the students knowledge about the integration of the occupational risks prevention management in the overall management of the companies.



The knowledge acquired will allow:



• To promote the preventive culture in the company.

• Integrate prevention of occupational risks in the management of the company

• Integrate quality systems, safety and environment.

• Train workers in occupational risk prevention.

• Participate in the development of preventive company policy

Competencies:



- Manage in an interrelated manner the set of disciplines that make up Labor Relations



- Manage, advise, evaluate companies, unions, institutions and other social organizations on socio-labor matters.



- Design, develop, control and properly evaluate strategies and plans related to employment and the prevention of Occupational Risks.



- Communicate, transmit and relate appropriately in writing in the technical language of the Degree.



Learning outcomes



- Prepare reports and evaluations of the world of work.

- Adequately develop professional activity in the field of the chosen specialization.

- Assess compliance with applicable regulations based on the company's existing documentation and measure the social aspects that determine the company's social responsibility.

MethodologyToggle Navigation

The subject consists of 6 ECTS credits, representing 150 hours of student work. The tasks to be performed by students are as follows:



1- Presence: 60 Hours



- Attendance at lectures theoretical practices: 60 contact hours spread over 36 hours of theory and 24 hours of classroom practices

- In the theoretical classes, support and made some notes, the teacher will explain in a participatory manner, the various agenda items.

- In the practical classes the theoretical knowledge acquired by solving the proposed practical cases will apply.



2- No attendance: 90 Hours



- Read the notes of each topic before each class.

- Address the explanations and try to solve the examples and exercises proposed.

- Identify the doubts and problems of understanding, consult the theory and the corresponding readings, if not, go to tutorials to solve the problem

- Assimilate and memorize knowledge.

- Practical cases. Throughout the course two works to be carried out individually outside school hours is proposed.

  • Tools and qualification percentages:
    • Written test to be taken (%): 50
    • Realization of Practical Work (exercises, cases or problems) (%): 20
    • Team projects (problem solving, project design)) (%): 30

Ordinary Call: Orientations and DisclaimerToggle Navigation

During the assessment tests, students will be prohibited from using books, notes or notes, as well as the use of telephone, electronic, computer or other tools or devices. Only the Calculator can be used to make the calculations.



A continuous assessment will be used with the following two sections:



1. Evaluation of the process: 50% of the final grade

Attendance and work done in class: 20% in total.

Group work: 30%



Continuous assessment requires: minimum attendance of 75% and presentation of all work.



During evaluation tests or when preparing and presenting evaluable academic papers, the following behaviors will be considered fraud: Plagiarism, i.e. copying the work of others without citing the origin or the source used and presenting it in the texts or papers submitted for academic evaluation.





2. Final Evidence (Exam) 50% of the final grade



- Test-type exam 25%

- Theoretical questions to be developed 50%

- Case study 25%



Since the final proof is worth more than 40%, failure to appear for the exam directly results in a Not Presented grade.



In any case, students will have the right to take the final evaluation system, whether or not they have participated in the continuous evaluation system. For this purpose, students must present a written statement to the teacher in charge of the lesson, indicating their refusal to continue the assessment. To do this, he will have a period of 9 weeks from the beginning of the term, based on the center's academic calendar.
