Ruben Jimenez Redal is an Assistant Lecturer at the University of the Basque Country (UPV / EHU) and lectures at the School of Engineering of Bilbao. He received his doctorate in 2014 from the Institute of Sustainability of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC), having previously completed (2010) a master's degree in water management at the University of Cranfield (UK). He has worked as a technical consultant for Unicef ​​and several organizations related to public water supply services, mainly in Africa. His scientific contributions on sustainability of water supply services in Ethiopia, Mozambique and DR Congo have been published in Water, Utilities Policy and International Journal of Water Resources Development.
