Gorka Albizu is a Predoctoral Researcher at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) and performs his work in the Applied Chemistry Department. He graduated in Chemistry in the University of the Basque Country where he also completed the Master's Degree in Chemistry and Polymers. Both, the Final Degree Project and the Final Master Project, were developed in the Analytical Chemistry Laboratory of the Chemistry Faculty in Donostia. While he was doing the master's degree, he participated for 6 months in an investigation of the Applied Chemometrics Group of the UPV/EHU as hired researcher.

His scientific contributions are a publication in the journal Talanta and contributions in congresses such as XV Symposium of Young Chemical Researchers of the RSEQ or XXI Meeting of the Spanish Society of Analytical Chemistry. His work is developed in obtaining analytical methods based on digital image analysis.
